Description

The REKO‑MTL‑NxT‑RT metallic self recuperative burner is an advanced solution for indirect heating in radiant tubes, engineered to maximize energy efficiency and ensure consistent performance in industrial applications at medium‑low temperatures. It uses the heat recovery technology,  the related ESA patent and the  integrated shell & tube metallic heat exchanger, the system recovers most of the heat contained in the combustion fumes and uses it to preheat the combustion air. This process delivers significant fuel savings compared with traditional cold‑air burners and ensures high efficiency even at operating temperatures up to 750°C.

The burner is of the nozzle‑mix type, meaning that fuel and combustion air are mixed directly at the burner head, reducing the risk of flashback and improving operational safety and stability. It generates a long, high‑velocity flame whose elevated turbulence ensures excellent temperature uniformity along the radiant tube surface—enhancing process quality and thermal consistency.

Available in four sizes from 80 to 320 kW, the REKO‑MTL‑NxT‑RT supports natural gas, LPG, and other gases upon request. Its construction features include a phosphated G25 cast‑iron body and gas manifold, an AISI 310S combustion head, and a fully metallic tube‑bundle heat exchanger.

This burner is ideal for heat treatment, annealing, heating, and homogenization processes across the steel, aluminum, copper, and non‑ferrous metals industries. It is perfectly suited for pusher furnaces, chamber furnaces, car-bottom furnaces, roller hearth furnaces, immersion systems, and horizontal or vertical continuous lines.
