REKO-SIK-NxT-SW - Self-recuperative burner with sidewall (flat) flame
The REKO-SIK-NxT-SW are self-recuperative gas burners for direct heating. That is, they use the heat of the combustion fumes to preheat the combustion air. Depending on the size and conditions of use, they guarantee a substantial reduction in consumption compared to cold air burners . The particular geometry of the flame tube guarantees a radial distribution of the heat.
Description
The REKO-SIK-NxT-SW burners are high-velocity, flat flame (or “sidewall”), ultra-low NOx, self-recuperative gas burners for direct heating. They integrate a silicon carbide heat exchanger to preheat combustion air using flue gases. The particular geometry of the flame tube ensures a radial distribution of the heat
The integrated heat exchanger is one of the most efficient sources of heat recovery.
Depending on size and operating conditions, this type of burner ensures a significant reduction in fuel consumption compared to traditional cold-air burners, as well as burners using preheated air from a central recuperator—offering the advantage of much greater flexibility. The possibility to set on the roof of the furnace give an additional efficiency.
The REKO self recuperative burners sidewall ultra Low NOx feature a world-patented technology: an “easy-set” three-way valve and a Venturi system to split air flows between inlet combustion air and exhaust ejection flue gases. This design also delivers superior efficiency thanks to a larger heat exchange surface and flow channels integrated into the cast body.
Ultra-low NOx values are achieved through staged and controlled air-fuel injection and mixing, as well as the option for flameless operation.
“REKO” burners are heavy-duty, fully casted, and internally fiber insulated, with capacities up to 240 kW in SW configuration.
Several customization options are available, such as lateral air ejection, gas adjuster positioning, and ignition and detection technologies.
They work with several kind of gases including hydrogen and blends.
Their use is possible in several kind of furnaces and applications included roof installation.
