Description
The REKO-MTL-NxT-FF series consists of advanced self-recuperative gas burners designed for direct heating – free flame – applications, specifically for low tempearture application in homogenizing /ageing of aluminium parts.
These metallic self recuperative burners feature an integrated shell-and-tube heat exchanger that recovers heat from combustion fumes to preheat the combustion air, delivering substantial fuel savings compared to conventional cold-air burners. Available with or without a flue gases ejector, they utilize a “nozzle mix” design where fuel and oxidizer mix at the combustion head, eliminating flashback risks.
The burners generate a high-speed flame that creates strong turbulence, ensuring uniform temperature distribution and effective flue gas recirculation.
Combined with air and fuel staging, this design significantly reduces NOx emissions.
The metallic self recuperative burners exceptional heat recovery capability makes them highly efficient even at low operating temperatures (450°C–800°C). Ideal for steel, aluminum, copper, and other non-ferrous sectors, these burners are suited for processes such as heat treatment, reheating, and annealing in various furnace types, including pusher, chamber, bogie hearth, soaking pit, and continuous systems.
