ESA FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY COPPER

Electronic- quality copper with ESA burners!

For the copper industry, ESA designs and builds various combustion systems for shaft furnaces, refining furnaces, holding furnaces, transport channels, and ingot molds.
We can offer so complete solutions with special premixed, burners, oxy fuel, air/oxy fuel or classic nozzle mix burners for post combustion requirements. Linear burners can also be used for molds preheating with special profiles.
Solutions and various products can also be developed for copper production from ore.

Several solutions are also available for furnaces used in the processing of semi-finished products, such as flat flame burners for copper slab reheating furnaces.
Furthermore, due to the critical importance of oxygen concentration in copper production, we offer reliable and precise control instruments and engineered solutions — including our general premix stations and Phlogiston®, our compensation station for fluctuations in the calorific value of grid-supplied natural gas.

Premixed burners for shafts "E-therm"

E-Therm are high-velocity burners with ultra-short flames operating under sub-stoichiometric conditions.
The design of the refractory block and the radial mounting inside the shaft optimize heat flow dynamics, progressively melting the copper with exceptionally low energy consumption.

Premixed burners "ENR" for launders

Used for transport channels, these burners are available in capacities ranging from 10 kWh to 3 MW and for operating temperatures from 100°C to 1150°C.
The flame — turbulent yet short — ensures complete combustion of oxygen and high temperature levels near the burner outlet, helping to reduce the risk of clogging due to molten copper slag.

Air/Oxygen/fuel "AGO Nxt" for refining furnaces

Burners able to swap oxydant: air or oxygen according to process power requirements or simply due to lack or excessive costs of oxygen.  Mostly used to process lower grade copper scrap.

Sidewall burners "ESW" for copper walking beams
