Description
The PBC & PBST series includes premix pilot burners designed for safe ignition of high-capacity main burners. Thanks to their special combustion head design, these pilots ensure excellent flame stability, thermal shock resistance, and long service life. They are ideal for industrial applications such as glass furnaces, billet heating, and casting spouts.
PBC & PBST burners offer capacities from 1.5 to 15 kW and operate with fuels such as natural gas, LPG, and propane. Ignition and flame detection are performed via a single electrode, while the maximum operating temperature reaches 1100°C. Air pressure ranges from 50 to 360 mbar, and gas pressure from 25 to 100 mbar. The construction uses high-quality materials: AISI310/ceramic for the combustion head and AISI304/INCOLOY 601 for the flame tube.
The PBC-MX version integrates the mixer into the burner body, simplifying installation and reducing space requirements. To ensure flame stability, pressure regulators on air and gas lines and filters to prevent impurities are recommended. Adjustment is made via a micrometric valve, allowing adaptation to different fuel types.
With robust construction, easy maintenance, and compliance with ISO13577 ( UNI EN 746-2) and Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, PBC & PBST burners are a reliable solution for industrial plants requiring safe ignition and consistent performance.
