ISEO-SSV - Single and double safety gas solenoid valves
The ISEO-SSV is a model of normally closed automatic gas interception solenoid valve, which opens when the coil is electrically powered and closes when it is de-energized. The ISEO-SSV-D is designed and built according to a patented internal geometry, whose peculiarity is that of including two solenoid valves in series in a single product, both which close in favor of flow (for greater safety) and certified class A according to EN161
Description
The ISEO-SSV series includes automatic gas shut-off solenoid valves, normally closed, designed to ensure maximum safety in industrial combustion systems. When the coil is energized, the valve opens; when de-energized, it closes immediately, stopping the gas flow. The ISEO-SSV-D version integrates two solenoid valves in series within a single body, both closing in the direction of flow for added protection. This configuration is certified Class A according to EN161 and is ideal for applications requiring double safety. The ISEO-SSV-S version, with a single solenoid valve, is available for systems that do not require dual shut-off.
ISEO-SSV valves feature a transparent connector with LED indicator and guarantee opening/closing times of less than 1 second. They are compatible with non-aggressive gases (EN437) and offer a maximum operating pressure of 500 mbar. The valve body is made of aluminum, with a fixed brass core and a zinc-coated steel moving core, ensuring robustness and durability. The IP65 protection rating allows installation in harsh industrial environments, while the mounting position is completely flexible (360°).
Key technical specifications include power supply at 115Vac or 230Vac, coil absorption of 13VA, ISO 7/1 threaded connection (or NPT upon request), and available sizes DN10/DN15. Maintenance is simple: no adjustment components are required, only functional checks at regular intervals. The ISEO-SSV series complies with UNI EN 746-2 standards and European directives for gas safety and low voltage.
