RSO/T & RW - Fuel shut off valves

Description

The RSO/T, RSO/T‑Y, RSO/T‑F, and RW series form a complete range of manual fuel gas shut off valves designed for industrial combustion systems. The RSO/T series consists of ball valves, while the RW series includes butterfly valves with LUG‑type mounting. These valves are intended for gas shut‑off functions, flow isolation, and—specifically for the RW butterfly valves—manual throttling and flow adjustment.

The RSO/T and RSO/T‑Y ball valves cover sizes from 1/4″ to 2″, with a maximum operating pressure of 5 bar and a fluid temperature range of –20°C to +60°C. They are constructed with a brass body and brass ball, PTFE sealing seats, and external NBR O‑rings. The RSO/T‑F models, available from DN50 to DN125, maintain the same pressure limit of 5 bar but offer an increased maximum fluid temperature of +120°C. These models feature a G40 cast‑iron body, a brass ball, and PTFE seats, making them suitable for higher‑temperature applications. RSO/T valves are primarily shut‑off components and are not intended for precise flow regulation.

The RW series includes butterfly valves ranging from DN40 to DN300, with a maximum pressure of 16 bar and a fluid temperature range of –23°C to +82°C. Their construction includes a G40 cast‑iron body, AISI 316 stainless‑steel disc, NBR seals, and an aluminum lever. Each RW valve features 10 mechanical locking positions, enabling reliable throttling capability in addition to shut‑off functionality. LUG‑type threaded holes allow secure installation between flanges and facilitate maintenance operations.

All models comply with relevant international standards, including EN331, PED, ATEX, and DVGW certifications. Depending on the series, threaded or flanged connections are available, and all valves can be installed in any orientation.
