Self Recuperative Burners

The self-recuperative burners integrate an heat exchanger that uses the enthalpy of the flue gases to preheat the combustion air, reducing consumption and emissions of Co2 and NOx even by 30% compared to the use of cold air. To increase efficiency, the heat exchanger is built in highly conductive materials, such as silicon carbide (Sic), is equipped with grooves and fins and is interposed between opposite flows of cold air and hot exhausts. Self-recuperative burners, being standardized and pre-assembled products are much cheaper than a single external exchanger that requires a specific realization. Furthermore, during maintenance or in case of problems, only the single burner can be stopped and not the whole oven.

The new ESA Reko NXT, covered by a worldwide patent, allow today:
- consumption almost 5% lower than the previous model. By integrating the flow of flue gases inside the burner body, the heat exchange surface has increased considerably
- perfect combustion and therefore less NOx, using the three-way control valve and the internal Venturi, which allow to effectively divide the incoming air between the one for combustion and that for the extraction of exhausts.
- greater robustness, reduced dimensions and low external temperatures as the burner body is entirely in fusion and provided with internal insulation.
Self Recuperative burners are high speed burners available in three versions: free flame (REKO NXT FF), flat flame (REKO NXT SW) and for radiant tubes (REKO NXT RT) straight, double bee p, while for U tubes it is used a plug-in recuperator system (PIR) derived from REKO
