Description
ALBEN GTC is ESA’s advanced control unit designed for the safe management of gas trains and the automatic execution of the Valve Proving System, meeting the highest safety and flexibility requirements of industrial combustion plants. The device verifies the tightness of gas shut-off valves and continuously monitors safety interlocks, ensuring safe operating conditions before burner start-up and, when required, also during system shutdown.
Thanks to its modular architecture based on the ALBEN Safe Unit and AEM01 expansion modules, ALBEN GTC can be configured to suit a wide range of applications, from single-burner installations to complex multi-burner systems. The availability of safety-related digital inputs, analog inputs, safety outputs for fuel valve control, and additional auxiliary outputs allows precise customization according to installation standards and process needs. The option to implement redundant inputs further enhances the overall safety level of the system.
ALBEN GTC features ECS and RS485 serial communications with Modbus-RTU protocol, enabling full remote control and monitoring through PLCs or automation systems. Integrated WiFi/BLE connectivity allows fast commissioning, advanced diagnostics, and parameter adjustment via a dedicated smartphone or tablet app, significantly reducing setup time and maintenance costs.
Available in two enclosure versions – a compact thermosetting housing or a robust aluminum box – ALBEN GTC is designed for installation close to the gas train, even in demanding industrial environments. Fully compliant with major European directives and international combustion system standards, ALBEN GTC is the ideal solution for applications in steel, aluminum, glass, ceramics, food processing and other energy-intensive industrial sectors, where safety, reliability, and digital integration are essential.
