The FMT Series Flanged Mixing Tees are advanced air–gas proportional mixers engineered to guarantee stable combustion performance across a wide operating range. Designed specifically for industrial burners with high capacity demands, these mixers provide a precise and reliable way to maintain the correct air-to-gas ratio under varying flow conditions. Their construction features a robust G25 cast-iron body, ensuring mechanical strength and long-lasting resistance to thermal and mechanical stress. Inside, precision-machined AISI 304 stainless-steel orifices deliver accurate metering and durability, even in demanding environments.
The FMT mixers operate using a pressure‑balanced system that ensures the gas pressure always matches the controlled air pressure. Combustion air is introduced through a manual or motorized valve and metered by a calibrated orifice that generates a pressure signal. This signal is transmitted to a balanced zero regulator, which adjusts the gas outlet pressure accordingly. An integrated adjustable gas orifice enables fine control of fuel flow, ensuring the proper mixture quality for burners operating across their full turndown range. This design keeps the air–gas ratio constant, guaranteeing clean combustion, optimal flame stability, and efficient energy use.
Thanks to their flanged construction, FMT mixers eliminate the need for pipe unions and simplify installation. Pressure losses in the mixture line remain low, enabling smooth operation even at high flow rates.
