Description
ESA REFLAM-H is a versatile microprocessor-based burner control and flame detector designed for industrial combustion applications requiring maximum safety and flexibility. It can operate as a flame detector or as a complete burner control unit for multi-nozzle or multi-flame burners, supporting both permanent and non-permanent operation. ESA REFLAM-H complies with EN298, EN746-2, and international directives, ensuring certified safety for gas and oil burners.
The device offers four operating modes:
- Mode 1: Burner control for multi-nozzle burners with continuous ignition command.
- Mode 2: Flame detector for centralized safety systems.
- Mode 3: Burner control with semi-continuous ignition command.
- Mode 4: Burner control with pulsed or remote ignition command, including autostart capability.
ESA REFLAM-H burner control and flame detector manages ignition cycles, monitors flame presence, and provides safe outputs for fuel valves. Flame detection is achieved via ionization electrodes or UV sensors (UV-2), with periodic checks for permanent operation. The unit includes configurable digital inputs and outputs, enabling advanced functions such as high-temperature operation, air valve control, and illegal flame detection.
Communication is a key feature: ESA REFLAM-H integrates ECS and Modbus-RTU protocols for remote monitoring and control, allowing full supervision of ignition, flame status, and operating parameters. Optional expansion cards (EXP-2, EXP-3, EXP-4, EXP-5) add capabilities like air damper control, fieldbus integration (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet), and additional I/O management.
Housed in a robust thermosetting enclosure with IP54 protection, ESA REFLAM-H supports 115/230 Vac supply and operates in demanding industrial environments. Its programmable parameters, autodiagnostic functions, and safety-certified design make it ideal for complex combustion systems requiring reliability, adaptability, and compliance with stringent safety standards.
