The HB Series High Blast Mixers are compact, high‑performance air–gas mixing devices specifically designed for combustion systems operating with high‑pressure air supplies. Built with a sturdy G25 cast‑iron external body and AISI 304 stainless‑steel internal pipes and orifices, these mixers deliver long‑lasting durability and precise metering capabilities in even the most demanding industrial environments. Their core operating principle is based on a modified primary venturi that uses a high‑pressure air stream to inspirate an equal volume of gas, effectively elevating the gas pressure and ensuring consistent mixture stability.

One of the defining advantages of the HB Series is its ability to use only 10% of the total air needed for combustion as high‑pressure air. Thanks to the strong suction effect generated by the venturi, the remaining 90% of the required air is naturally inspirated from the surrounding environment. This drastically reduces the need for oversized compressors, making the system energy‑efficient, economical, and easy to integrate into existing burner setups.

The mixers are compatible with a wide range of fuel gases, requiring minimum inlet pressures as low as 13 mbar for coke‑oven gas, 7.6 mbar for natural gas, and 2.5 mbar for LPG, propane, or butane. Their design ensures stable combustion characteristics, which can be fine‑tuned by adjusting the gas cock: opening it results in a softer, longer flame, while slightly closing it produces a sharper, more intense flame.

Installation is straightforward, requiring only proper air and gas connections—either via piping or flexible hoses—and ensuring that these lines match the mixer’s valve sizes. Once ignited, users can adjust both the high‑pressure air regulator and the air shutter to reach the desired heating capacity.
