29 JulESA, with CMI and SAIPEM, wins ARAMCO megabid

Al Jazan it is located in Saudi Arabia southern part on the border with Yemen on the Red See.
There, SAUDI ARAMCO National  Arabian Group for oil is building its largest and most modern oil refinery .
Prime contractor of the project is the Italian SAIPEM ( Eni Group), which has turned to the Belgian CMI Group for the construction of 8 vertical furnaces type “hearth furnaces” for the treatment and the recovery of metals from slag refining.
After an extremely  difficult selection, ESA has been chosen by the above mentioned Companies as  supplier for  combustion technology.
This will consist in several hundreds of:  technologically advanced high-speed burners, air / gas supply lines , complete instrumentation of regulation and control,  electronic supervision andignition systems.
All the equipment  is  guaranteed to work in extreme operating conditions and in compliance with the numerous specific requests.
Specifically, the electronic components (ESTRO and REFLAME), will be guaranteed operating up to 75 ° C, in the presence of saline atmosphere and in Atex Zone 22 for explosive dusts … , the zero governors regulators will have to work with propane and butane gas to over 90 ° …
For the burners are required levels of extremely low NOx (<70ppm) and a remarkably wide range of adjustment.
